8-Link Gigabit Copper TAP

8-Link Gigabit Copper Network TAP

C8-1G is a high density Gigabit Ethernet TAP providing secure and fail-safe access for monitoring multiple network links. This 8-Link Gigabit TAP enables the monitoring of 8 full-duplex copper links at 10/100/1000 Mbps in a single RU. C8-1G features redundant power supplies ensuring automatic failover in case of power failure. The integrated Data Diode feature protects the network from any injection of data from the monitor ports.

Once in place, this network TAP allows your monitoring devices to be connected and disconnected as desired, with no impact to the network link.

Technical Specifications

Tamper-Evident Seals

The 8-Link Gigabit Copper TAP can be fitted with serialized tamper-evident seals on request. These seals ensure that the TAP has not been tampered with during transport or operation.
