Who are we looking for?

As a Software Engineer at Profitap, you are involved in every step of our engineering process. Through system design, development, and testing, your work and ideas will directly impact and shape our products.

You will work with a dynamic team of software and hardware engineers in the R&D department. Together with your team, you will be involved in developing the core of our solutions. These can range from developing new RESTful API business logic to system facilities’ configuration to designing network traffic analysis software components.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

• At least 2-3 years of working experience with modern C++
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience with GNU/Linux
• Have good written and oral communication skills in English
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, GitLab, and Debian packaging is a plus

We’re looking for a (Motion) Graphic Designer to help promote Profitaps brand and solutions with a mix of content. Videos, training material, website, presentations, datasheets, manuals, and other media. The whole mix.

Of course, you’re not alone. You will work together with a skilled marketing team that will support you with technical expertise and helps you get the content out there.

With many clients and partners from all over the globe, we find that visual explanations are a perfect way to connect and explain complex information to our customers quickly. Our focus lies on educational content that adds real value to the end-users and partners. You must be eager to learn: you enjoy visually explaining complex information and are self-sufficient in researching the subject.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role/field
• You’re a self-starter. Eager to get to work and results-driven
• You’re communicative and structured. You start with outlines, mockups, storyboards and work your way to the final result. You see the strengths of other team members and involve them wherever possible
• Have good written and oral communication skills in English

You keep up to date with industry trends and innovations. When there are events planned, you assist in preparing and promoting the event itself and set up campaigns around it. With every project, you keep track of the bigger picture. You connect all the dots with a campaign focus and ensure flawless execution on the website, social media, and offline.

You can turn complex information into tailored content for the target group. You work together closely with technical writers, designers, and industry experts to do this well. If you have a technical background in the cybersecurity/network performance monitoring industries, this is a solid plus.

We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, and technically savvy Network Sales Engineer to help our customers and partners bring clarity into their network.

As a Network Sales Engineer, you will ensure end-users get the most out of Profitap’s cutting-edge network monitoring solutions. From beginning to end, you will gather technical requirements from customers and partners, create and deliver demonstrations of our products, offer technical support, and organize technical training and workshops. Everything to make sure the end-user enjoys the ideal solution for their specific needs.

You have a knack for sharing your in the field knowledge and experience and enjoy writing educational content that will support Profitap’s Sales and Marketing efforts such as technical whitepapers and feature briefs.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales technical support and technical expertise to our customers and partners.
• Provide feedback to product management and engineering.
• Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services.
• Author whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other customer/partner facing content.

Skills that we would like to see:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of Enterprise IT environments.
• Advanced user skills of Linux based systems.
• Knowledge of routing and switching.
• Cisco certifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience with flow or packet based network monitoring and security tools is an advantage.

You are a QA Automation Engineer who feels right at home in a high-tech IT environment where network analysis plays a major role.

As QA Automation Engineer at Profitap you will contribute to the development of our automatic testing processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct code analysis and be involved in the definition of our software quality procedures.

You will work in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.

Skills that we would like to see:
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
• Experience collaborating with product managers, software and hardware engineers
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Fluency in Linux and/or Windows shell scripting is a plus
• Basic Git knowledge
• Basic knowledge with programming languages as C++ and/or Python
• Experience in Unit Tests development in C++ is a plus
• Familiarity with networking environments, protocols and OSI model is a plus
• Familiarity with web technologies and languages (JavaScript/TypeScript) is a plus
